This high-powered zoom lens extends from 28mm to 280mm (35mm camera equivalent). Two ED lenses and 4 aspherical lenses correct a variety of aberrations, helping render high-contrast, high-resolution images without false colours or distortion, from corner to corner across the entire zoom range. Featuring a linear motor and Inner Focus system, the auto focus is extremely fast, accurate and virtually silent – ideal for shooting HD movies. Using a microstep system for the aperture drive further suppresses noise, making HD movies easier and more comfortable to shoot.
