Macro photography is the art of taking close-up photos of very small subjects, which can produce stunning results. Lumix G’s have a dedicated ‘macro’ mode, indicated by a picture of a flower, but you can get even better results with a 45mm macro lens. Thanks, I think that will help with my macro shots, and I do tend to use my hand held small spider tripod, screwed into the camera base to give a little extra steadyness.

mmmm this is going to be an expensive hobby, will have to play about with the lens i have got for the time being. and just get used to camera.

dose that Macro 45 mm lense fit the new Lumix DMC G3

i think the g series lenses fit all the cameras. i have 2 G1 AND A G3 AND 4 DIFFERENT LENSES AND THEY ALL WORK ON EVERY CAMERA.
