Hi Mike. I love this photo. Can you yell me where you purchase your lens adapter for your G1. I have being searching the net all weekend and although I found some adapters Im not really sure which one is best. Thanks for your help and keep up the good work….
The connection depends on the telescope. My TAL2M has a old style M42 thread mount. This means I can use a cheap m4/3 to M42 adapter off e-bay. This is used at prime focus (no eye piece) of the telescope. Effectively you are removing the normal camera lens fitting a very big lens – the telescopes. The G1 is perfect for this application.
