Great photo, Ray! I went to Petworth last year and tried to photograph these deer but they were too quick and managed to hide away in their enclosure. I really needed a telephoto lens on the camera I had then( not a G1 unfortunately!).

Thanks for your comments Ray. I did feel like I was chasing them all around the park and you’re correct that a telephoto lens is necessary. The only problem with that, is keeping the camera steady when using full zoom as any movement affects the focus and when you are following animals around, it’s a pain using a tripod.
