Winter visitors

The Fieldfares are in their element - photographed plundering the Hawthorn berries in Bransdale today using the 100-300mm zoom lens. 1/640 sec F5.6 ISO400 @ 300mm. It took a long time to get this close .. they were very wary of me. I rested my camera on a bean-bag.
