Hi Roy, Tee Hee! No coffee machine but I do have a “pocket-rocket” Gordon

A lovely shot, Gordon. My wife is a Yorkshire lass and, when I see images like this, I keep asking myself if we ought to go back (but she always says it’s ‘nine months winter, three months bad weather’!). Is that Sutton Bank in the background?

    Regards,

    Don

Thanks Don, but wrong on both counts. It’s nine months peace and quiet without the tourists ha-ha! Simon Howe, a wonderfully peaceful place, is between Ellerbeck (Fylingdales) and the Roman Road (Wheeldale). I was “crossing” the moors on the LWW (Lyke-Wake-Walk) route – 40 miles of heathery, peaty, boggy, peaceful moorland, from Osmotherly to Ravenscar. Highly recommended! Sutton Bank is also nice of course with one of the best views in Yorkshire. Regards, Gordon
