Hi Gordon, nicely positioned bird shot using ‘other’ lenses… I’m still looking out for the ideal long prime for my G1. Have enquired with Sigma and got a luke warm response as to 4/3 lenses. May have to do without AF and use converter. Any further ideas?

Hi Tom. Sorry, I’ve only just seen your comment a month after it was posted! I’m confident that eventually there will be a suitable prime lens for auto-focus, but who knows how long it will take. Meantime I can sometimes get satisfactory results with the legacy set-up, albeit it is heavy and cumbersome to use. Whoever does produce a nice fast lens will surely get a lot of take-up if it is affordable? 400mm or 500mm would be great with the 2X crop factor.
