Another great shot with the kit lens Gordon. This is really sharp in a new window so I’m presuming you used a tripod at that speed?

Thanks John, but no I didn’t – relatively slow shot I know even though it was bright – because of polariser – but OIS must help a bit (even though I am “rock-steady) :) Gordon

I’d forgotten, but I do think you once said that you don’t carry a tripod Gordon. Remarkable, must remember never to challange you to an arm wrestling contest :) John

Hi John, I wasn’t carrying a tripod that day, but I often do. I once had to carry one down from 3,700 metres (that’s 12,000 feet) with all it’s legs extended and stuck-out. It had frozen solid and nothing could shift it – and my camera (not the G1) was never quite the same after that ….
