Two Faced
zepol's comments:
This is my favourite photo because being a shy person my photographic mentor was really pushing me to give more instruction to the model and in general giving me a hard time. I find portrait photography extremely difficult as I'm more in tune with taking photos of flowers & animals.. There was also a language barrier because the model only spoke French. After a very long photo shoot, I was feeling very deflated so sat on a small jetty dangling my feet in the cool lake. The model, Lawrence then decided to cool off when I spotted the amazing reflections in the water and I managed to get this image. A big thank you to Kees Terberg, my tutor and Lawrence Bertin the model. I just love this image and it has made me more confident to take people images.

Excellent Carol – as are the other model shots you’ve posted in your gallery – I think you’re developing a real talent for this kind of work.

Thank you John for your kind comment. If I could get over my shyness maybe I could then improve on my portrait photography.

That is a truely lovely image. Well done. May i ask if you needed to use any editing afterwards or is this exactly how it was shot. Thanks

@ Alison – Hardly any editing at all, just cropped at little and level adjustments. The lake water was that unusual colour of browny green.
