The love of three oranges

I got my Lumix GH2 a few days ago and was very excited to try it out. I bought these oranges this morning and thought that, as they still had their leaves on, they would make a good picture. It also reminded me of a favourite composer, Prokovief and his piece, 'The love of three oranges' I used a tripod and shot in aperture mode at f/8 to get a good depth of field.

Nice and simple…and it works! I love photographs (and photographers) who make something out of very little. This is creative…not just another lake/mountain shot! Nice natural light. Good contrast of tones. This needs to be A3 size on plain white wall. It will look really stylish!
