Stained Glass

I have always loved stained glass and painted glass windows and even as a child I would stare in wonder at the art and wonder about the craft of producing those images. I was recently in Rome on a city break and this stained glass image is in the Vatican museum. It was my chance to try out my new G10. The day was overcast but that was ideal to bring out the colours without burning out the highlights. I love the colours they appear to radiate out of the picture.
