I have chosen this as my favourite photo because I like what this image portrays, cold, trapped and sad which I think shows in the horses eyes. This was my first photograph I took using the new Panasonic 100-300mm F4-5.6 lens. I've been using the Lumix G1 now for a year and it's capabilities never fail to surprise me and this photo imparicularily I think demonstrates what the Panasonic Lumix is capable of in bad weather conditions. I hope you enjoy the image.

    lovely shot – the barb wire adds to the context of being trapped. on the larger version its somehow less noticeable, which personally I think is better – almost a secondary consideration.
    anyway it looks very poignant and is great work….
