This photograph was taken using my Lumix G2 with 45 - 200 lens. The camera was on a monopod for extra support. It was a lovely day and there were a few oystercatchers along the edge of the harbour. They are quite timid birds and are off at the least noise. The lens at full zoom let me get close enough to take this photograph.
