New Year rainbow

This was an opportunity that doesnt arise that often. I was driving through the mountains as the rain clouds were closing in and stopped to photograph the sun setting over the bay. By chance I looked over my shoulder and there it was! The most vibrant solid rainbow (with a weaker second rainbow alongside). With the combination of the strong rainbow colours, the fact that it comes down on the house, and the sun making the hillsides glow golden, these are the reasons this is my favourite photo. The rainbow was only there for about 2 mins, so it was very much a case of being in the right place at the right time.
