Happiness is… a big stick

There are already some excellent entries to this competition and I spent quite a bit of time choosing my entry. Eventually I settled on this picture of my Mum's Lakeland Terrier, Gypsy, taken during a walk across the fields near her house just before Christmas. The light was just incredible that day, which really helped this photograph. I set myself low to the ground and pre-focussed on a point in the snow then waited for the bounding terrier to come hurtling towards me with a big smile on her face!
