Boy in the Sunlight

We were on the Family Holiday at Charmouth. My youngest and I were paddling. I saw how the sunlight framed my youngest, as each wave came in. I could see from the histogram, that most of the light would be burnt out. So I dialled in as much compensation as I could. I only had one chance with this photo and the G1 did not let me down. I further recovered the sun lit detail, when I processed the raw file. I like the way that my son is framed by the light. And for once he has not spotted the camera, and therefore looks relaxed and natural. A nice memory of a good holiday.
