Sunflowers

Sunflowers are everywhere in the fields in southern France. This captured the vastness of the beautiful colour of the flowers as they turn towards the sunlight. One of them even appears to have a smiley face in the flower (second from the right facing the camera). The camera did the work while I concentrated on composing the photograph. It just needed light levels tweaking in Aperture as I was shooting towards the sun. It was taken in southern France in July using my new G2.
