Although this photo was taken in Lanzarote in November, to me the subject of ice cream, sunshine and children typifies a portrait of summer.

Thanks John, the little girl is my sister’s granddaughter. If you view this in a new window and zoom in, you will see that she not only has ice-cream on her face but sand as well as she had just come off the beach.
